Demetris and Cher met at Lindenwood College , St. Louis Mo in 1997 and soon married in 1999.  We operate a not for profit  counseling agency named Christian Psychological and Family Services.  We both have a passion for marriage and are confident in knowing that we are operating in our purpose.  Our purpose is to assist in growing marriages and helping to restore conflicted and hurting marriages.  We lead a marriage enrichment class and a 3-day intensive weekend workshop for couples in crisis. In 2020, God assigned us to plant a ministry in Houston Texas

God revealed to us years ago that we will expand to another state and begin a ministry there.   On June 4,  2020 God revealed His plans to position us to move.  He gave us the scripture Isaiah 43:19.  That was the beginning of many confirmations that would position us to begin preparing, stepping out on faith by moving to Texas. God continued to show us through Isaiah 43:19  while we were in Texas visiting. This reaffirmed where we are suppose to be. God was now sending us out to make the transition.  On July 2021, We moved to Texas to  start preparing  for such a time as this.  Along the way, God has truly brought people into our lives to assist us with the move and has made ways when our situations seem to have several roadblocks. Yet, God is faithful to perform His promises.  In August 2022 we joined a church planting network to help us develop our framework in planting our church.   We are fully persuaded we are operating according to His purpose.
